Charlie’s funeral service will be held at 2pm 25th June at Shrewsbury Crematorium with drinks afterwards at the Mytton and Mermaid.
 
We will remember a remarkable person so we really do welcome all who knew him to join us at the Crematorium to share your memories. We have arranged for a live video stream of the service for those of you who sadly can’t attend in person. We are asking everyone not to wear a formal funeral suit/dress or ties; to remember Charlie we encourage you wear some tweed if you have it!
 
We hope further Covid restrictions are lifted ahead of the service but we must plan as if they are still in place. This means limitations of those who can come inside the Crematorium. We are also required to provide guidance on the number of attendees in the Crematorium gardens, for the live video stream and at the Mytton and Mermaid.
 
We will contact all those individuals directly who we are able to accommodate inside the Crematorium so if you don’t hear from us please join the service from outside the building. In the event restrictions are lifted, we will invite as many additional attendees as possible to join us inside the building.
 
Weather and Covid rules permitting, Hannah will also be hosting a BBQ at The Haven from 12pm on Saturday 26th and all are welcome to join us. Please bring drinks and a salad, side or dessert to share; we will supply the rest.  Please feel free to pop in at any point after 12pm to share some memories and celebrate Charlie’s life (No dress code).
